AGAPE MEAL TEAM Schedule (COMING SOON)

AGAPE MEAL TEAMS

revised January 2024

Coffee Hour is changing! We are establishing Agape Meal Teams to work together to bring us a luncheon fare on Sundays after church.  The teams will have a Team Leader and 9 to 11 persons or familes. Each team works together to put together a healthy, yet simple, lunch for the community.  Your team leader will contact you and let you know the dates that you are hosting and also lead you to creating your plan.  We have 6 Agape Meal Teams that will host approximately every 6 or 7 weeks.  Please stay tuned as we post more information here to help us-together launch this new ministry. We hope that this program will strengthen community and strengthen friendships through shared commitment.

SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER
  • SHARE THE CARE --- Your time offered to share food, set-up, monitor the tables, serve and clean-up is very important!

  • Hall Rental Readiness – we want to leave the hall clean and tidy because Barb shows it to prospective renters during the week.
  • If everyone pitches in a little then everyone gets to enjoy a lot!

*******THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SERVING THE CHURCH AND EACH OTHER!!!!!!

* Making the Coffee (only if you want to)

    1. Fill the percolator with water to the desired level based on attendance (see line markings for 25 cups, 35 cups, 45 cups, 55 cups).
    2. Measure the Coffee - Use 1 brew bag per 10 cups of water (no filter is necessary if you use the bags).
    3. Set up the Percolator - Place the brew basket and stem in the percolator, secure the lid and put it out on the wooden pedestal. DON'T PLUG IT IN YET
    4. WAIT UNTIL 10:30 TO PLUG IN PERCULATOR. It takes 40-50 minutes for the coffee to brew so plan to plug it in around 10:30 AM
    5.  Ask a "CHRSP" (Coffee Hour Support Person) to help you:  Sarah, Presvytera, Alan, Georgette, Maddy, Tim
    6. WATCH THIS VIDEO TO MAKE COFFEE IN THE URN
